HiFi was built to give designers and developers more power over the site they create while presenting their clients with a less complicated interface for managing their site.

This is possible because HiFi approaches the problem of creating a website in a fresh and unique way. It builds on a couple of simple concepts into a very powerful system that is easy to understand.  Below you can take a quick tour of the HiFi admin interface.  It is built around two major concepts -- the site tree and types.  You can add types anywhere into the tree as nest them as deeply as you like.  This makes navigating the admin interface and editing a site simple.

Forms Made Easy

1. 1 Keeping Things Simple

   If you're not working with something you can easily hide it -- often HiFi is smart enough to hide the things you aren't interested in on it's own.

   You can drop forms anywhere into your site tree.  There are a bunch of field types built in that make it easy to add forms to your site.

Site Moderation

1. 1 Complete commenting control

   Just as important as what you say is what people are saying about you. Comments can be edited, deleted or marked as spam, giving you the ability to moderate what viewers are saying on your site.

2. 2 Respond with efficiency

   The most recent form submissions are right on the website dashboard so you can see at a glance when someone is trying to get in touch with you.

Users and Roles

1. 1 You decide who's in control

   Not everyone should be able to control all parts of your site. That's why we allow you to create and edit roles for different levels of administrators.

   Give an entire group the same administrative ability and let them work together to perfect their area of the site. Whether it's keeping the blog updated or posting the latest company press release, place the responsibility in the hands of the team of your choice.

Site Tree

1. 1 Add Content Anywhere

   The site tree is just that, a tree.  You nest content as deep as you like.  And you can add all types of content, from pages to galleries and forms.

2. 2 Control Your Navigation

   Things in the site tree can be dragged-and-dropped and marked for inclusion in the site menu.  This makes it super easy to control the navigation of a site.

Editing Content

1. 1 Never Get Lost

   Breadcrumbs will always show you exactly where you are when you're editing your site.  This makes it easy to navigate around the site tree even when editing deep content.

   HiFi is using a highly optimized text editor to give you as much control of your content as possible -- without generating crazy markup by encouraging semantics.
